Matt and Harri fire up the old JOTF machine and listen to Matt's new solo piano album called "Let's Hold It Here".

And... we're back! On the road this time to meet up with South Dakota singer and songwriter Boyd Bristow. Boyd and his wife Dar gave us a warm welcome at their home in Sioux Falls (thank you, both!). Boyd has been making music in South Dakota for decades, and Matt gets to play with him on one of his songs, "Finding My Way" (the soundcheck turned into "the take"). We wish you all an amazing year! We'll hear about her gifts as a writer and a lover-of-souls, her wicked-good sense of humor, and her fearless early career in California (including a job as a Hollywood tour bus driver = numerous Mr. T sightings). Music, radio and TV. They're some of Matt Weesner's earliest memories, and today he's blessed to be a public radio host and producer and a professional pianist. This month on JOTF the tables are turned: Harri interviews Matt! They talk about how he started playing the piano, his radio career, and what's up with those songs that won't stop playing in his head. And, she mockingly pretends to sit at his feet as he plays a couple of tunes.

This month's guest exudes contentment and peace. Mimi Wilson was born into the life of serving others before self. She is an international speaker who has lived in Congo, Ecuador, and Jordan. She has co-authored several books, among them "Holy Habits" and "Once-a-Month-Cooking". She is married to Dr. Calvin Wilson who had a life passion to touch the untouched tribes and share his gift of healing. Listen in as Mimi speaks of raising their children in the life God called them to with great uncertainty and some great adventures. And, we'll end with a song that, according to Mimi, "says it all".

We had a blast on the road meeting up with our friend (and brilliant guitarist) Charlie White. He tours with Wynonna Judd and The Big Noise, and has also worked with Pam Tillis, Highway 101 and Vern Gosdin. We'll hear about his first guitar (purchased with rolled up pennies), jamming with Bob Weir of the Grateful Dead, and he brings by a beautiful 1930s Martin guitar that he's working on in his repair shop. Plus, the best place to get enchiladas in Heber Springs, AR!

This month, Matt and Harri take the show on the road! We drive with our friend Idella from Denver to her new home in South Carolina. A few people that we meet along the way share how this past year has been going, their heartfelt wishes for our country, and what they'd like to throw out "Just Over The Fence". And, we hear from a long time listener... first time caller. Thanks for coming along for the ride.

Beth Bowlen Wallace bleeds orange and blue. She grew up on the sidelines of the Denver Broncos next to her dad, team owner Pat Bowlen.
